Alichia R. Parker is the founder and president of A PAR Educational, LLC – an educational services company whose mission is to inspire and promote learning throughout the world.  In her position, Ms. Parker founded Malaika Learning Center, an education focused child care center for children grades pre K-12. In an effort to find creative and fun educational methods, Ms. Parker created the card games Multiplication Attack, Math Attack and Parts of Speech: Grammar Game. Most recently, Ms. Parker has designed a Games and Activities Guide for child care and education professionals to utilize within and outside of the classroom.

Ms. Parker is a highly sought after facilitator having presented workshops locally for organizations like the YWCA and the Sarah Heinz House, and statewide at early childhood education conferences throughout the commonwealth including the annual Juniata College Early Childhood Conference, among others.

Ms. Parker’s good works have not gone unnoticed.  She is the recipient of the Mayor of Pittsburgh’s Citizen’s Service Award, a City-Council of Pittsburgh Proclamation, and she was recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s Legacy of Leaders by the City during Black History Month 2015.

Having received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Point Park University, she is currently earning her Masters of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College.  In October 2015 Ms. Parker also accepted the call to ministry and preached her initial sermon as a minister.
